The author sounds like a nice enough person, but I did not buy the book to learn about her personal life. And while he never quite reaches patient with Lane, he does have a high tolerance for him. It is based on an English TV show called "What Not To Wear". Aside from Lane and Jared’s relationship, they, along with one of Lane’s friends, all have similar issues with their parents.
