we have many of these Life Lesson volumes which my kids listen to all the time. You'll want to leave it readily available to flip through to re-read certain passages. Jumping in at this point will simply leave you confused. The first thing you need to know is that it basically is taking you back to the cave days, when you ate fish. The kids will no doubt find it friendly and fun. We also have the Pete the Cat activity coloring book which we love but you have to bring your crayons along for that one. I loked other Shinn books so was surprised when this one was so poorly done. My 3 year old knows all the words, and I must confess I DO TO. But, I can recall quite a few harrowing days that I know I wouldn't dare reach out to them for advice or looking for a shoulder to cry on. I own every Trinny and Susannah book written.
