As a manager and TQM coach I fully recommend the book to managers and management students, as a mathematician I recommend it to students and researchers in statistics.
Readers without mathematical background should not be scared by many mathematical formulas in the book that explain why SPC works. Is it right that something that would have been frowned upon 2 generations ago by unbelievers is now commonplace even among evangelical Christian leaders? If we love Him, we will obey His commands.
This is probably DP's most controversial book to date - to people in the UK and perhaps the USA at least. Again the plot is much deeper this time around, with religion playing a much more major role than it has in any of the other volumes. Like other authors I've enjoyed discovering, Keck seems to have gotten his start by publishing essays on Nerve.com, a popular web site you should check out. Helen Lester delivers just this in her story about a very spoiled princess named Penelope
