Grammar is terrible and some sentences make no sense at all. A single short comment at the end of the book suggests they sat it out, en masse.
One nit to pick: an acre is an area, a width a linear measurement--fires do not get "acres wide".
The book was written a couple of years after the fire. defined both the role and the style that would come to represent the prototypical automotive journalist. Worth getting for sure.. It trusts the reader's judgment. It is colorful and well-written. Thanks Adam. It quickly grabs your attention and makes you want to read more. I used it for a class and the smarter students of the class all had the same opinions which were: the book didn't answer the fundamental questions they wanted answered, it wasn't particularly well written, and it didn't inspire them, either with inspirational offerings or a rationale for taking art away from the systems of modifications.
