I used it for a class and the smarter students of the class all had the same opinions which were: the book didn't answer the fundamental questions they wanted answered, it wasn't particularly well written, and it didn't inspire them, either with inspirational offerings or a rationale for taking art away from the systems of modifications. I tend to agree. I help make school a little more palatable, a little more fun, as students are trained to do their part in the ongoing destruction of the planet, as they enter the final phases of trading away their birthright as the free and happy humans they were born to be for their roles as cogs in the giant industrial machine, or worse, as overseers of the giant factory/enslavement camp we once recognized as a living earth. The book doesn't provide an overview of the many ways artists have taken back power from the galleries today.
