How do we know huge dinosaurs existed hundreds of millions of years ago? After all, no humans were around to see them. And how are scientists able to figure out what the Earth looked like during different periods of its vast history? The answers to these questions, and many more, can be found in a trail of natural clues called fossils that the Earth and its creatures left behind, usually buried in rocks or beneath the ground. WHAT FOSSILS TELL US: THE HISTORY OF LIFE examines the ever-unfolding stories these fossils reveal about life on Earth. Dig in and learn how fossils were formed, and find out about some of the most important people and places in the field of paleontology.

Editorial : About the Author The "Come Learn with Me" series introduces students to the fascinating world of science and encourages the child's natural curiosity about the world. The series includes the exploration of the history of life through fossils, invertebrates, classifications of the kingdoms of life, and animal physiology.

And it covers them very well. Now that I've finally had the opportunity to read the 2016 version, I'm absolutely astounded by the amount of information the author provides. This is an excellant book! This book is out of print for a reason. For me, personally, sticking to the actual diet part is not easy because I think it is a little time consuming and can be a little expensive. You mention the help you receive from your pub
