"I am the product of priests", Lacan once said of himself. Educated by the Marist Brothers (or Little Brothers of Mary), he was a pious child and acquired considerable, personal knowledge of the torments and cunning of Christian spirituality. He was wonderfully able to speak to Catholics and to bring them around to psychoanalysis. Jesuits flocked to his school.
Freud, an old-style Enlightenment optimist, believed religion was merely an illusion that the progress of the scientific spirit would dissipate in the future. Lacan did not share this belief in the slightest: he thought, on the contrary, that the true religion, Roman Catholicism, would take in everyone in the end, pouring bucketsful of meaning over the ever more insistent and unbearable real that we, in our times, owe to science.

When I think of creative, I think of artists with original creations. The presentation showed quote after quote after quote and article after article after article showing the original intent of the founding of America.
If you are a fan of History you will enjoy this presentation simply for the numerous historical documents referenced.
I found it quite enjoyable and informative.. One feature I particularly like about this book is the great list of references at the end of each chapter that deal specifically with that chapter's material. Once we understand how God designed The Family then all these pillars fall into place. If one cannot differentiate between the message and its bearer, (s)he does not yet possess an unperturbed mind to dispassionately contemplate.
Let's face it- the greatest human beings are imperfect and fallible. The book features good recipes but most of them didn't intrigue me. meat and raw vegetables. I bought this book to help me sc
