Editorial : About the Author Patricia Adams Farmer is a featured author for Jesus, Jazz, and Buddhism: Process Thinking for a More Hospitable World. She is the author of three books and numerous essays on process thought. For twelve years she served as a contributing editor for Creative Transformation, the journal for Process and Faith. She holds an undergraduate degree in music and three master's degrees in theology, philosophy, and education. After being ordained into the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), she served congregations in Ohio and California. Later she taught English and Independent Studies for at-risk high school students. She and her husband, Ron Farmer, currently live and write on the north central coast of Ecuador.
This is one of three books I use as a reference when negotiating licensing agreements for the artists I represent. I have tried several recipes and they have all been very good. would recommend this book to anyone thinking of becoming an author - she is certainly an expert herself - many best-sellers. Section 6.2 is on winding numbers and degrees of mapping. I actually got curious and intrigued, so I eventually decide to read this. It's definitely a textbook (as opposed to some of the more enjoyable books on the same subject), so you sacrifice some readability for the dense content.
Overall, I learned more from this book than any other one I had read, but I did slow way down and took notes on each chapter. Plus he likes it when people sing Pete the Cat songs when they see him with it. Pfeiffer, (and some coworkers) announced that they had made a number of breakthroughs.
