However, she shows how the long centuries of strong male influence have created the way our societies and organizations function. It is a wonderful book, I clear many doubts I had, besides having a small glossary of dreams, it is very easy to understand. I really thought this book had possibilities but about 100 pages in I still didn't like either of the characters. Rather than seeing oneself as a passive and pathetic looker for a job, why not think of oneself as a creator of a job? In our modern economy it's very possible to do this: it just requires you to think differently about who you are and how jobs are described and offered. Engaging, strong beginning, but stay tuned seems to be my take on it all.
I would recommend it for those who love their impertinent, eccentric lady adventuresses in a historical setting.
